A documentary on Italian music
Red Valley is a documentary on Italian music that has been recently released on Amazon Prime.
The subtitle is “We are what we listen to” and the questions that the Italian artists interviewed and the director of the documentary try to answer are the following: Are we really what we listen to? And if so, would it be good or bad?
Red valley takes its name from a festival that has been held for two years in Olbia, Sardinia, in the middle of August. The guests are exceptional: Fabri Fibra, Marracash, Salmo, Irama, Blanco and many others.
Unfortunately they are mostly men, and this is a subject which is addressed in the interviews.
Before going on stage, all the artists answer questions about music, about who listens to music, about fame and success, about writing songs.
And it is nice to listen to them because the space dedicated to spoken, told and not only played music is usually very little.
We leave you the trailer below.
Enjoy!
